AgentWorld.com Launches Peer Review for Real Estate Agents

Realtors can Boost their Online Visibility and Reputation with AgentWorld's Peer Rating System. Buyers, Sellers and Realtors will be able use AgentWorld's Ratings as an Objective Indicator of a Real Estate Agent's Ethical Standards and Professional Ability as Measured by their Peers.

Denver, CO (PRWEB) June 1, 2009 -- The AgentWorld.com real estate agent peer ranking system is unique and proprietary. It was created on the premise that a positive review by an agent's peers is one of the best indicators of his or her ethical standards and professional ability and one of the best Realtor marketing tools available.

Member agents (membership is free at http://www.agentworld.com) are asked to answer objective questions about other real estate agent's professional ability and ethical standards. Specificallly, agents are asked to rate one another based on two rating criteria: (1) Real Estate Ability Ratings; and (2) General Ethical Standards Rating.

Real Estate Ability Ratings take into consideration the standard of professional ability in the area where the real estate agent practices, the real estate agent's expertise, and other professional qualifications. If a real estate agent's practice is limited or specialized, Peer Review Ratings are based on performance in those specific areas. Real Estate Ability Ratings are: C = Good to High; B = High to Very High; and A = Very High to Superlative.

The General Ethical Standards Rating denotes adherence to professional standards of conduct and ethics, reliability, diligence and other criteria relevant to the discharge of professional responsibilities. The Ethical Standards Rating is either: A = Always Ethical or Not. A Realtor will not receive a Real Estate Ability Rating unless he or she has been endorsed for an "A" Ethical Rating, based on the AgentWorld.com proprietary formula. When both categories of Peer Review Ratings are confirmed, an agent can receive a CA, BA or AA Rating. Any Rating is positive. The specific Ratings correspond to the following descriptions:

CA Peer Review Rating = an excellent first rating and a statement of a real estate agent's above average ability and very high ethics.

BA Peer Review Rating = an indication of an exemplary reputation and well-established agent. A typical real estate agent is in mid-career, with significant transactional experience and high professional standing.

AA Peer Review Rating = shows that a Realtor has reached the height of professional excellence. He or she has usually practiced real estate for many years, has held leadership positions, and is recognized for the highest levels of skill and integrity.

Ratings and profile visibility ranks appear on an agent's profile page which can be accessed via http://www.agentworld.com.

No rating is not necessarily negative, it simply means the agent has not yet received a sufficient number of peer ratings or the agent has been licensed for less than three years. AgentWorld is encouraging agents to sign-up and request a peer review by emailing their request to peerrating(at)agentworld.com.

An Agent must be a licensed real estate agent for at least three years before he or she is eligible for an AgentWorld Peer Rating. In addition, to give or receive a rating requires a FREE membership on AgentWorld.com
